TransPost Version 4.1.1

MYOB are changing the way that add-on applications such as TransPost obtain authorisation to access online MYOB business files. In future each file will need to be individually authorised.

The current versions of TransPost will cease working on 1st September 2026 so from that date onwards you must use a new version to access online files. You should download and install the approriate version below to replace your current version.

This is a new version so there may be issues but we have tested all transaction types to ensure that all pre-existing import functions work as they did before.

If you do find any issues please do not hesitate to let us know. Email support@transpost.com.au attaching the log file and, if appropriate, an exported mapping and sample data file.

You will need to reauthorise TransPost to access you online file. To do that:

  1. On the Start tab, click on Link to Company File

If using TransPost Premier the Company Files form will appear, otherwise it will open the Link to Company File Form directly

  2. If using TransPost Premier, Click on the Connect a Company File button to open the Link to Company File Form
  3. On the Link to Company File form, Click on Authorise Online
  4. If you get a MYOB login pop-up use it to log in. You must log in as an authorised administrator for your file.

You should now have a MYOB pop-up asking you to select the business you'd like to connect

  5. Select the file you need to link from the drop-down list at the top of the form
  6. Click the cConnect button at the bottom of the MYOB popup. (Note that it sometimes responds quite slowly, taking a while to activate that button and then responding to a click.)

The MYOB popuup should close and you should see a message beside the Link to File button

  7. If you do not get a message saying "The file is authorised and ready to use" repeat from step 3
  8. Click on the Link to File button to finalise the link with TransPost
  9. CLick Close to close the form, and if using TransPost Premier repeat from step 2 for each of your files.

Note: MYOB have withdrawn support for offline files and have ceased maintaining so these and future versions of TransPost will not import into offline files. For the moment it is possible using a version of AccountRight SE before 2026.4 and old versions of TransPost but maintenance has ceased in both cases.
Classic AccountRight is no longer supported so those users who still use it should not upgrade past TransPost version 3.3.7, which is also no longer supported.
